This depends upon your company policy. Some companies do not offer even the usual holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years as holidays. And I have NEVER heard of a company offering Victory ove Japan Day as a holiday! As for holiday pay, that too is a company issue. There is not a federal law that says employers even have to pay holiday pay, this is just a perk that many companies offer to make employees happy and ensure that they will show up.
