What is your stance on New Years Eve and any traditions?

Do you go out and party? Or enjoy time at the house with the family? Does any have any traditions for the new year?

I go out and party on NYE. always. I don't really spend it with family anymore.

And then I usually have a few New Year Resolutions as well.

Usually go out and party, but will stay home this year with the little one and I thought I would be a little sad, but I am actually looking forward to it because I have really bad luck going out on New Years - I've cut my foot on glass in a bathroom, had a rib broken by accidentally getting in the middle of a fight, had my purse stolen twice costing about $1000 when it was all said and done. I'll go out next weekend :) Have fun brave souls!

I like to keep my family home for New Year do to the town that we live in is kind of dangerous. Traditionally I give my children and all others here pots and pans with metal spoons and we go outside and whoop up a racket of noise brake out the sparkling cider for kids and a bottle of bubbly for adults and toast to a great year past and pray for a good year to come . A kiss is also a nice way to start a New Year. I also have a set of fortune cards to help predict the up and coming events this is also fun.
