Can i pay taxes on a house that is delinquint and own it ,and how?

I have a neigbor that abanded his house,with a peice of property is ajoining mine.Can I quick claim it by paying the delinqient tax?

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. If you paid the tax, your neighbor would just get credit for it. When taxes have been delinquent for a certain period of time, the taxing agency will take possession of the property and auction it off. Your neighbor may also have still owed money on an original loan for the property. In that case the bank also has a claim on the property.
