Your friend has every right to see the baby. What you will do is go to the court and request a paternity test. Then file for visitation rights. In the custody agreement, he can request that it stipulates that she cannot take the child out of state without his consent. What state are you in?

As a father he has rights and he needs to exercise them, go to the friend of the court, establish paternity, let the court know what kind of situation this is and the threats the female is making just so they are aware, depanding on her situation and stablility he may even be able to gain custody of the child if he works at it and can provide a better home than the mother
