Dusting house plants

I have a bunch of houseplants. It takes me forever to dust the leaves. Is there some simple quick way of doing this that I am too dumb to figure out? (tried the canned air thing I use for computer, but that doesn't work).

Lol - I wash them in the sink with the sprayer too - you can also buy a water-wax spray to keep dust off of them a little longer. I can't think of the name of it (haven't had house plant for a while because plants come to me to die :) but anyone at a greenhouse or homedepot in the garden center could point you in the right direction!

I water them in the sink and shower, but I mean getting the leaves all shiney. Maybe I'm the only weirdo that likes to make the leaves shiney by dusting them (not just removing dust, but adding a gloss to them).
Techie - I like the oxygen real plants put off ;-)

My girlfriend puts a dot of mayonaise on a rag and rubs her leaves with that, it is pretty quick, gives a top notch shine, and she has the most beautiful plants, so I don't think it is harming them but she does "shower' them first to.

Fastest way to dust houseplants: Blow the dust off with a hair dryer set on cool. After you finish, mist the plants.

I dust my plants of with a banana peel, it gives the plants that extra shine and allows them to stay clean a little longer.
