Can you use muriatic acid to clean out your pipes?

OK if you know how to control the acid with the water that you dilute this with yes, but its really strong and will attack any kind of plastic or metal and really etch this stuff if you are not careful, and this is used for cleaning brick, etching concrete, cleaning metal and for swimming pool maintenance. Will attack varnish, fabrics, metals, plastics, most paints and many other materials. Can be diluted with water. and so be very careful while doing this!

This is not environmentally friendly. Muriatic acid in your drain pipes may cause you to have a slew of other problems.
