First you should soak the item in cold water, this works pretty good by itself. Then you treat it with a stain remover, my favorite of which is the spray & wash stain stick. Then launder with cold water. Make sure the stain is gone before you put it in the dryer. Good luck! HTH

Very cold water and salt. Make a paste, apply, and let set about 5 to 10 minutes. If it is a fresh strain you should be able to scrub it out quick. Otherwise a number of application might be needed. Peroxide works excellant. Pour some on the the blood and let it bubble up ( it will turn brown). When it stops bubbling, sponge it off with a cool damp-NOT WET- cloth/sponge. It may also take a couple of tries. Peroxide also works great on flooring, pool decks, concrete, etc. Never, ever, use hot water! It sets the stain.

First run under cold water. Then pour peroxide on the stain and let sit. Then rinse off and repeat until gone. Then wash as usual.

Wash immediately in cold water first, then try these different steps one at a time until the blood spot is gone. 1. Try soap and water
2. make a past of salt and rub into the spots. Let set for about 10 minutes and wash out.
3. Use perioxide. This usually does the trick.

Hydrogen peroxide straight from the bottle works whether stain is wet or dry. Dried stains needs to soak a bit sometimes before washing and might need repeating. This also works on rust stains on clothes, and other protein based stains.
