Your mother wants to be nice about this but in all reality, you have no responsibility to replace the glasses. It was the other girls responsibility to take care of her own glasses and since she didn't do that very well, she (or her parents) bear full responsibility for replacing them. This would be different if it was your fault they got lost, but I don't think this was your fault.

Omg i had a birthday party and my friend has glasses and we were plaing around she lost them!
We went to a water park she sat them on the table my mom saw her put them back on when and then we were plaing by my pool and saying we were going to go swiming well see sat them down then she didn't remember were she put them and we sherched the house and the back yard and codn't find them today we moed the grass and there they were one the ground and my mom thinks should replace them but do you thnk she slould of been more responsible there were younger kind there that didn't get theres lost so please tell me what to do soon plzzzz
