The Bilco Door website says to use alkyd outdoor enamal paint. Does Rustoleum make one? And what is the difference between this and latex?

I have a basement access Bilco door that was installed a year ago. I am fianlly geting around to painting it. I will need to remove a small amount of rust where the door meets the frame but otherwise it appears ready to paint. Any suggestions are appreciated. It is in a highly visable east side (direct sun) location and needs to look good for the long term.
