How Experts Earn Money

Experts earn money by answering other people’s questions and receiving an “Awarded Answers”. The original user who asks a question has up to 48-hours to award the answer to the expert that best answered his or her question. For example, if a user asked a question yesterday and received 14 answers from experts in the system, this user must choose a best answer and award the answer to only one of the answers to the question. If the question is not awarded within 48-hours, a moderator will award the answer to the expert that best answered the question.

You earn money only if you are receive the Awarded answer. If you have been awarded the Answer to any question, WebAnswers shares in the advertising revenue generated from that particular thread. WebAnswers automatically inserts related contextual advertisements from several third-party companies allowing you to monetize pages that have been awarded to your account. If you have been awarded 125 answers on WebAnswers, you will have 125 pages which earn advertising revenue for you. If you have 1,000 awarded answers in the system, you will have 1,000 pages that will earn money for you. Since only one expert can be awarded an answer, each completed question will have one expert who earns money from future traffic.
