Holiday pay

If you were brought over from a temp agency to a permanant position, do the hours working as the temp agency count towards your permanant position. For example: start date 02/22/08 with temp agency, changed to permanant as of 06/09/08. Rules state 90 probationary period for new hires, but no rules stating whether or not my hours count. Only told that because of transition I would have to wait 30 days for health benefits, but not told holidays were part of benefits so not paid for July 4th. Because I have been here 5 months does that count towards my time, should I be entitled to holiday pay?
