How to get an appeal ?

I have been a nanny at a daycare center since Feb. and was fired because the director didn't want to get into trouble for her part. Now that I don't work there they said I can't come back and they will not give me an employee hand book so I can fight them harrassing me

You definatly need to contact your state labor board. Tell them that you will file an official complaint if you don't get a copy of the handbook as you are entitled to one. What were you and this other lady a part of that you got fired for?

That makes sence because my director told another parent information that should have not leaked out. It went to licening and she could have lost the center and maybe still can I don't really know. So when it came done to paperwork and who the eyes were looking at she pointed them at me so she would be off the hook and nobody would know what happened. Its really sad because the whole center is like that. Good workers but bad admin.

Well, maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Good luck finding a better place to work!
