Is holiday or vacation pay required by employer

I know of an employer in Nebraska that has about 10 employees and they don't pay for legal holidays. The employees all work about 40 to 50 hours a week. There isn't any paid vacation time. Is this legal? Is there a way to classify employees that work that many hours as part time so holidays and vacations don't have to be paid?
