You should get 54 cents a mile for any and all work related ex, for your job, and they can also have this as a tax deduction , if they dont pay this , you can deduct this on your end year yaxes,

Yup, that is right
if you are salaried, you don't get paid for over time and you don't get paid for milage
If you use your car for business be sure to increase your liability coverage to protect yourself ===you should be paid for travel and other business expenses===however if your job is broken up into x# of days in one office and x# of days in the other office the co. may consider mileage from home to office as an expence they do not pay==if you go to a primary office before going to secondary office that is considered as a reembersible expense.===getting them to pay it is a different story==personaly i'd look for a better co. to work for
