Job problem

I have been trying to find a job and it ain't easy. This my first job search. I put in many resumes but nothing comes back good. It's either no job experience or no work history. I been so depressed about it. I need a job to continue on with my life. At night sometimes I cry because I don't have a job and the worst part is that I don't have anyone to keep my head up. What should I do?

Everyone goes through this at some point. After college I would send out soo many resumes but hardly get any responce. There could be a lot of reasons for this.

Your Resume could be the problem
1. Check over your resume for spelling errors and layout issues.
2. Take out any information that is less than favorable to you.
3. If you have little to no experience list schooling above that, then try and find something to list in experience that is relative to the job you are looking for.
4. Also if you think your resume is lacking in good format or layout you can find free online resume templates microsoft has some on their website for microsoft word and excel.
5. If they ask you to send a cover letter don't exclude it. They will also automatically throw any resumes away that don't have the right criteria.

Network with people who have the jobs you want. Sometimes its not what you know or who you know it's who knows you.

Fake it until you make it. Even though you are down right now try faking the enthusiasm and positivity people will feel what you are putting out and eventually you won't have to fake it anymore because you will have it.

If you are having trouble getting your foot in the door try a lower paying position in a company and work your way up.

don't get upset something will eventually stick. Just keep on working hard. It will pay off.

oh and check out places like www.linkedin.com for networking
and monster.com for resume posting and job listings.

I did. I went over my resume 12 times and even had a job that I was applying for look over it. They said it was ok. But thank you. I 'll keep trying

"A new type of job solution is getting hot this year. They are community websites connecting job-seekers with current employees of good companies. Job-seekers can get a good chance to be noticed, whenever the insider employee think he is worth referring. Insider employees can usually claim a nice "employee referral bonus" from his own employer on a successful referral.

There are 4 such websites in the world, 3 in USA. All of them are new in 2007. The largest one is InsidersReferral.com . They seems having the best marketing program, because they have the most number of members. "
