Many local community colleges offer Dental Hygiene programs. It takes almost two years and you will have classes,that you need to take prior to applying to Deental Hygiene school. If you call your local community college that offers this program, they will take you on a tour of their clinic and classrooms. They will tell you exactly what classes you will be required to have in order to apply for hygiene school. You have to apply and get accepted to start, and like I already said you have to take other classes first BEFORE you can begin hygiene school.
