I am guessing that they were specific in what they lied about on your performance report. In order for them do write such a report they must have first reported the deficiency to you. think about this...if you are not doing your job well...then they should notify you that you need to improve. The performance report should not be used a way of correcting bad performance. Manlgement owes it to their employees to provide them feedback on their performance, on how they are doing, and if they need to improve. Waiting until a report is done is improper and unprofessional. I would discuss this with your supervisor first....(cool and calm) and if falls on deaf ears...let the supervisor know you will take everything you have that proves you are a higher rating employee to his boss. No threats....no yelling...just let him know...you have the facts and the facts speak for itself. Best of luck.

Have you gone through the proper chain of commands regarding this. Your supervisor should have gone over the evaluation with you and ask you if there were any questions regarding the review. If your not in agreement with ask questions. Always have documentation on your job performance. If you still are not getting satisfactory answers to your question then proceed with your supervisors boss. Always go through the proper chain of commands and take with you any proof of your job performance. Good Luck and I hope this helps.
