I am an NAR Care Giver what is next?

I currently work in a state managed adult care facility. I've been working with mentally disabled adults for many years and so has my husband. What could we do to advance our careers? Or to make more money? Is there another field we could work in with the experience we've got with out attending college? Any suggestions or ideas would be great!
