Working part time/ getting full time pay/ another quesiton...

Here is what I asked: I recently went part time to continue my education, when I did my job changed to a new software program and they have been paying me full time money for part time hours. When I first noticed the problem I informed my boss, they said that they would take care of it, now 5 months later it's still not fixed and I myself had to call human resources to get this all straightend out and they want all the money back, I wont have a pay check for almost 6 months! Can they do that? Isnt that there mistake? I informed them of the problem, many times, I have all the emails and everyone I have spoken to about this. Is there anything I can do?

here is what I failed to say: my payment is through direct deposit, I never "cashed" these payments, they went directly into my bank account, and Im not able to just walk over to payroll because home office is in IL, we are in Indiana, you have to call to speak to someone about a payment discrepency. I have all the emails that I have sent to my bosses to let them know THEY were paying me incorrecty.

I think that the answers for your previous question are still valid regardless if you got real checks or if they were auto deposited through direct deposit.
