Attack of all america bulldog

Dear abbey, my son was attack by my sister in laws boyfriends dog , he was bitting twice onge in the head and then around the eye, he had to get tweleve stitches, the owners got rid of the dog two days later,the animal control call me,to take my son to the docter to get shots ,so i did. I have ask the owers to help with the bills, since it was their dog . Their reply was they were not working, it has been one year half now, the anmial control took them to court a year later,and my sisterlaw lie and her boyfriend lie they put the blame on his mother, i call her and she call me all kinds of name,my sisterin law think i should not be mad and i should put this under the rug,i have try so much to get something done the right way with out going to court,but these people think we are wrong for asking theme to help pay my son hospital bills ,he had to get a case of rabies shots, he is still scare of dogs, my sisterlaw wont evening speak, she think we are in the wrong my son could have lost his eye or life. If you know ay one could help me and my son to get this matter resolve,the courts or animalwould not help,they didnot issue no warrants for the mother for no tags or shots ,it is the state law to have these things,if you own the dog, and the mother own the dog for nine months at her home ,while her son was gone.
