Attorneys who handle automobile lemon law cases practice under state consumer protection statutes ("lemon laws") that allow a new car's owner to get a refund (or a replacement vehicle) when their car has a major problem that is not remedied by the dealer (or manufacturer) within a specified time.

Your complete guide to lemon law state by state at this website http://lemoncarlemonlaw.com/ .

Your first consultation will determine if you have a case..if so you may be entitleed to a refund or replacement for your vehicle at no charge.

Be prepared to provide documents on your vehicals defects and your efforts to have them repaired includeing dates and or receits.

A "defect" can be any problem with the engine, transmission, oil leaks, steering, paint defects, brakes, bad oders, vibrations, rattles, electrical, or nearly any other problem that you've tried to have repaired multiple times (usually (4) or more attempts, although some states have reduced this to (2) repair attempts where the defect poses a serious safety threat) OR where the defect(s) have caused your vehicle to be out of service due to repair, usually for a total of 30 or more days during the first year from date of purchase.

Ok...get your paper work together for any repairs and the dates of drop-off and pick-up. Make notes if the dealer trys to write an on going problem as a new one.
