Can a cop take statment wile being drunk

Yes i gave a statement wile i was drunk and i would like to no if that can hold up in court or is that Against the law for the cops to do so and i would like to no when and if they passed the law for shouting a handgun up into the air and get time for it in the state of pa or is it just a big fine and other thing like lose of license firearm tooken away stuff like that it would be a big help cause my public defender does not answer any of my ? it always like i don't no they can if the press the issue and i don't no what kind of evidence they have i don't have the police report stuff like that so it would mean a lot to me if i can found out by a real attorney

Under federal law any statement given while a person is " not in their right mind" is not admissable in court. no the statement cannot be used in court but you'll need an attorney to press the issue. as for firing your weapon most states have laws about discharging firearms in certain areas i.e. city property it is illegal... county or state property may have no law for or against it.

If they read you your rights (Miranda) yes, they can use your statements against you in court.

I gave a statement under the influence once and when I later told them that I was intoxicated they charged me with falsification (spelled wrong I think) but I faught it and got the charges dropped.
