Can a felon get a passport?

I am a reecovered addict so I have felonies on my record; 3 possession charges and a lesser tampering with evidence charge (because I was in posession and threw the drugs instead of giving them to the police I was charged with tampering with evidence). My husband (we are legally married in Texas) is getting his immigration status fixed and I want to go to Mexico with him and our 7 month old son..Can I get a passport?

OK there has been all kinds of these awarded lately. and you may just get this. and id send it in but tell the truth on the papers and they will let you know. and i dont see why you shouldn't have a passport. but this is a very odd business that we have now days. and dont sweat it. just try it.
