Can a person be charge when they have already left that jail after they were there for 3 months?

My husband was in jail for a possesion charge and he was in jail for 3 months. He was then given probation in that county when he went to court. After that he was transfered to another county on different charges and was given time served. when they were drawing up his paperwork to release him they found out that the prior county had put 2 more warrants on him. Can that county do that even after he was there for 3 months and they only had one charge on him then boom after he leaves that county they put 2 more on him.

Yes, they can. Depending on how much time he has there you may want to get a lawyer. Sometimes they can get the judge to "combine" time, where basically the time he has already done there will count toward what he has to do now. Maybe even ask for house arrest since he has done 3 months. Depending on his past (prior charges, fines, classes finished) they may work with him, but sometimes you get a judge that just likes to see people waste tax money.
