Child custody

If I have joint custody of my child, can the other parent legally move with the child out of the state from which they and myself currently reside?

Not generally without your permission or permission from the court. Check you parenting plan, it should say something about this.

With joint custody shouldnt have been able to withut informing you and working something out.
