Child support modification

I haven't had a job in the past two years, am behind on child support, and just recently obtained employment. My child support was set to a ridiculous amount in 2006, what it was set to in 2004 when I was making really good money. This amount is, by far, more than what is required through the state and more than what I am currently making on salary. Is there anything I can do to get this modified to what I am making now, or what type of action can I take (that is inexpensive) to resolve this matter?

You can go to the court and file to have your child support modified! It's fairly simple and you can do it anytime you have a change in pay.
