Collecting money having children

Hi. I met a man i like very much. He says he works for the government, but appears to have a lot of free time. He has four kids. I am affraid he doesn't really work, but collects money from the government (using the children). Is there a way i can seek this type of information? (i wouldn't like to marry someone who is not honest).

Privacy laws may get in the way, However if he works for the government, you can look into records and get devious. Ask what he does, and call around such places and ask for him, as if everything is okay and you know he works there. If they are like what are you talking about you may have a problem, you should be able to find out where he works considering he claims to be a government employee. If he were honest, he would just tell you, if he is acting doggey then he is most likely hiding something. Unless he works for central intelligence, however he would have a better cover story, so sounds fishy to me.

I am with steve on this one. If someone is not clear and honest with you about what they do, then why would you want to share your life with them. Ask him point blank how he makes his money. Best of luck.

How are you so sure that he doesn't love children, alot of people just love children, and what ever the government gives, is usually not enought to feed them let alone pay for college and all the various sports they play and have to buy equipment for it, I feel sorry for those parents that spend thousands on hockey equipment and they end up having to keep buying it as they grow.

Thank you. I was feeling kind of guilty for my doubts about this man. At the same time people say: "Trust your instincts". What Steve says: "If he is acting... he is most likely hiding something". That is exactly how this man acts. This answers my question. :)
