I sure would not broadcast that too loud; the state may make her pay for her incarceration ( seriously)
Yes, she can buy property and even own a business; though I am sure she couldn't have a liquor license.

Update; looks as i f HB 295: The “Jail and Prison Reimbursement Act”. did NOT pass; so she is good there.

The prison system knows of her inheritance, there was no problem with it and about a liqor license I am not sure, I just wanted to know if she could buy a house before she is released and use that house as a paroling out address. But I would like to know if this applies to the State of Georgia?
Georgia has no statutes forbidding a felon from owning property or running that type of business (restaurant) . Corrections may know, but I would still keep it quiet.
