Child support

My ex husband is always quitting his jobs so I don't receive any child support. Do I have the right to not have him see his daughter and would that be the best thing to do?

Child support and visitation are two different issues and one doesn't depend on the other. Not letting your child visit their Father will only complicate matters and make your child upset with you for not allowing visitation. A child needs both parents in their life to grow up mentally healthy. I know it's difficult not to receive child support for your child and the Father is wrong to not help. Have you worked with the state legal system to have his tax refunds sent to you ? I would talk to the court of the clerk and see what paperwork needs to be filed.

If there is a court order for him to pay you support and he does not, he is in contempt. You will need to file a violation of a court order petition at your local family courthouse.
If you do not allow him to see his child, you are then in violation of the court order allowing him to do so.. they are two separate things,.
File the contempt order, it will make his life a big hassle, they can take his license, taxes, and sometimes order jail time, (usually suspended). But the hassle of going back and forth to court is usually enough to get compliance.
