Do I also need to file for divorce in NC?

I was married to the same person first in NC and then in TN. A divorce was granted in TN but never filed for in NC. Do I also need to file for divorce in NC to be considered divorced?

No, the full faith and credit clause of the Constitution, allows the states to recogize the domestic acts of other states; just as you would be considered married in ca even if you were married in new york. If you marry in montana and move to oklahoma, become divorced in Oklahoma, every state will honor your divorce in OK
