Employee Rights

Today I had a meeting with my Supervisor, Union Field Rep. and the Head of Human Resourses. I was accused by the Head of Human Resources of defrauding my Employer, but I was not fired. Do I have grounds for a lawsuit?
Thank You,
Sherry

Defrauding how? What were the circumstances?

What exactly did they say? Did you defraud the company? What motivation do they have in saying that you did it? Why would you want to sue them if you didn't lose your job.

It seems like everyone wants to go to court right away, but if you didn't do it you have nothing to worry about and you should find out why they think you did that...

When I missed work for whatever reason, I would put the time it would have taken me to drive my route on the Employee Absense form and my time sheet. The Head of Human Resources said that I was paid my route conformation time( which would be more time). I told her that I thought that I was paid what was on my time sheet.

Sounds like a simple mistake, what happened?

It does sound like unintentional defrauding, which is probably why you weren't fired. A simple mistake on your part and your employers. I would let it go at that.
