As an heir you are entitled to disclosure of assets if you request it. You also have the power to fire your aunt as executor if you are an heir: It only takes one heir to do this. It is possible that the morgage is the value or almost the value of house, especially now, or other bills could take proceeds of the estate. Unclear as to why you get 10%: She gets 25%. Nevertheless, if you are an heir and you want to be protected in this matter you need to hire a probate attorney. If she is hiding something about the estate, and 'taking the money' it's the only thing that will stop her, and an attorney by law can only take a small percentage (most States 4-7%) Suggest getting an attorney for estate and firing her as executor which only takes a letter to the county clerk of court in most areas. You don't have to say anything to her.
