Executor of estate

My mother past away two years ago. She has funds available in both her 401k and 457k plans. In order for me to gain this money I have to file to be the executor of her estate. My question is if I become executor of estate will I be responsible for all of her debt which exceeds the amount she has available in her account? Will her creditors be able to come after me and will I become financially responsible for her bills.

She really does not have an estate just the money that was left in her 401k plan. So, If i post the add for the creditors and they do not respond with in the allowed thirty days where does that leave me with the money that is left in her account?

I guess if they dont respond , its yours after the set time , to keep , because , thats why you put it in the paper is to allow enough time to take care of this , and any one having a claim against the estate , can bill the estate
