I filed a contempt of court against my ex-husband for not having health insurance on our son. My question is: do i still need to abide by the final divorce decree until we go back in front of a judge? In other words, do i still need to follow the terms of the divorce decree and let my ex see our son for visitation even though i filed a contempt motion against him? or am i no longer bound by the court ruling now that i filed the contempt motion?

You cant hold him accountable and you do the same thing=== plus you don't need to add fuel to the fire you both are responsible to the court let the court handle him keep your self squeaky clean===unless he poses some sort of danger to the child you should not interfere with visitation besides you would be hurting the child while trying to hurt him ==not a good idea
