Felony Conviction?

I received a 5-year probated sentence for a felony in 1982. I successfully completed the conditions of the probated term. Is this considered a felony conviction?

Yes unless it states in the sentence that the felony will be dropped after full feeling the terms of the probated sentence its still a felony and will be on record as such, so get a lawyer and have them try for a reduced sentence like a misdemeanor, and probation was in lu of spending jail time only!
