How do i go about looking up and investment trust account?

There is an unclaimed account with the state of new york about an account with Bank of New York.

If you saw it on the New York State Department of Unclaimed Property Website, then there are instructions there about how to claim it. You need to search there first to see if it has been turned in. Go to www.naupa.com and click on the link to the New York site.
