How do you stop your ex-husband from harassing?

My ex keeps calling social services on me this is the fourth time but in the third county. He calls and tells them that my house is filthy and that there is feces all over and that you are literally walking around on trash and that you can't see the floors and that there is rotten/rotting food on the counters and on the table. His latest they showed up 3/10/08 stating that the received a call about the same but that there was medical neglect going on as well. I am a nurse and that is were I draw the line. My daughter and I both have MRSA and he told them it was due to flea bites. You get MRSA through physical contact not bug bites, they are sometimes miss diagnosed as bug bites because they are boils that look infected and are thought of as bites by the person infected. He plead guilty to domestic violence and that is why we are divorced, 1 time that is all it took. But will not leave me alone, he even lives with another woman. He has tried to get custody when we divorced but the jugde wouldn't allow it because he had a brain tumor removed and has short term memory loss. He has written close to 100 cold checks in Nelson Co. KY but has yet to serve on day in jail. He doesn't pay child support he has disability in KY but lives in IN. He is a cocaine addict another reason for the divorce but bitterly denies it and the court won't drug test him. What can I do? I divorced him for a reason but feel he still has control over my life

Get a restraining order against him. try to get a copy of the latest report from social services that show his claims are wrong, you can get that by calling the office and requesting a copy of the full report. You should have no problem getting a restraining order against him, at first you will recieve a temporary order and a court date. You will then have to have someone serve the other party to notify him of the order and court date. At the court date usually about 14 days out, they will then decide if the order needs to continue or be dropped, you can get it to last about a year then it will be reviewed. If he does not show up for court then your motion will be automatically granted and a permenate restraining order will be in place. You may have to include your daughter or have a stipulation concerning her and her saftey but that will be included in the first motion (temporary). This should be an easy case. If you get your motion granted I would provide a copy to social services making them aware of your no contact order so they can include it in your file and he may get in trouble with them for making falsified accusations causing time and money to be spent....good luck
