In most States taking a partial payment consititutes agreement - also, during the notice period, if you come up with the remainder of the rent and it is paid, the court will not evict - just never pay in cash - always keep a paper trail for prof....

How long do you need to be late to get evicted? And does rent too qwn go by the same rules?
I am 10 days late on rent too own my home and its only for 314 dollars emailed the owner a week before asking if it would be okay too send half on Dec 18 and the other on the 26th and too let me know if that was not okay never heard back from him he kept the 350 i sent and now id giving me 30 days too move.
