How long doed the judge have to make his final decision after final court date?

It has been 2 months since my final court hearing...for my divorce and custody issue for my daughter and i have not gotten anything yet... my lawyer says the judge is busy with a murder case, but doesn't he have to rule on my case within a certain amount of time?

The lawyer could be right give it a little more time there is really nothing that you can do anyways. They sometimes get backed up in the court system.
