I got married by proxy 10 months ago while overseas. I have only lived with her four months. Can I get an annulment in NC?
I got married by proxy in Montana by a company called S&B inc. I have lived with my wife four months and have since found out she hid being on Prozac and Xanax, and lied about her payoff of her student loans. She has also been hiding alcohol in the house and has been drunk while home alone with the children. I did not know she had a drinking problem or that she owed money on her student loans or that she was on prescription pychiatric medication before I married her. When I called her parents, they said they knew about all this and never disclosed of it to me and am glad to have her no longer living with her, as I also had her buy a house while I was deployed which she moved into the week I redeployed, and she was living with them while I was gone. She also refuses to go after child support from her exboyfriend and hides the fact she sends that money to various friends of hers. Can I get an annullment? We now live in NC and she is from SC.
