I have an old debt that shows up as having recent activity.

I have an old Bank One unpaid debt that is 7+ years since the last activity,in my state t old credit card debt has a statute of limitation of 6 years for collections. I was recently served with a summons to appear in court by a bottom feeder collection agency concerning this debt. I pulled my credit report and the Bank One record is showing 2007
as the last active date which is bogus. I don't have records that far back so how do I demonstrate that this debt is too old for collections ?
