I was wondering is I could file a civil law suit against my brother for molesting me when I was a child. I have suffered from lymphodema in both my legs since I was 10 years old. It has been said to be brought on by premature puberty which I think was brought on by him sexually abusing me.

Well iam not real sure about new york state law but yes it would really be hard on you. and you would have to go back and make sure that you remember dates and every thing . and then the jury would wonder why you waited so long. i know it happened and i feel for you so much. and its hard to live with this. but a lot of people don't understand . and they would make it hard on you. your so called brother would be there to try to do you wrong again! but if you want to do this then there will be people there to support you. you were done really wrong. and need to do this . and make him pay for every thing that happened, you are not the one that done this . he done this . and you need to make him pay. and i myself would go after him. and make him pay every day. because you have every right . so god bless you . and id do this as soon as i could . get you a lawyer and make him regret. the day he raped you in mind and body .
