Is it a DOT regulation that a tank truck must have a certified weight ticket for the product being carried in the truck?

Is it a DOT regulation that a tank truck must have a certified weight ticket in the cab or on the person of the driver?

No it is not , a copy of the load contents and hazmat codes and a bill of lading is all thats required!

DOT regulations states that only Haz-Mat loads need to have the weight of the contents and those weights adjusted every time your truck makes an unloading stop if the entire load is not unloaded. Things like milk are not regulated for weight as carriers are adding to the load at each stop when picking up.
