Last will and testament

My father has his will leaving everything to my mother in the event of his death. His children are not listed as beneficiaries. My question is if both parents happen to die together, how would his assets be distributed according to Kentucky law?

It will go into probate and you will have to prove to a probate court that you are entiteled to any portion thereof. Your parents should have allowances in there will for just such an occurance, as in everything goes to your mother unless your mother is no longer living, in which case it will be divided as such blah blah....
