If your name is not on the title you do not have to pay the insurance, if anything the insurance compamy should not cover you if they see your not on the title, send the insurance compay a certified letter stating you no longer own the vehicle, and have no intent to pay for something you do not own, also tell them that the title is no longer in your name, keep a copy of the certified receipt, and if the insurance company continues to bill you and trys to take you to court you will have the evidence that you sent the certified letter and also you can show the court that you have been dealing with this and the insurance compamy refuses to stop your insurance. Sending thenm a fax is a great ideal also.
