Release of Liability Form

We recently sold an automobile and completed the release of liability form over the internet. Is this all we need to do to release ourselves from liability?

This can be legal and binding as long as the buyer signed as well as you. All you really needed was to put sold as is,and all sales final on the sales receipt, and the buyer could not take you to court.
