Legal settlements

If I settle out of court and receive a payment that would cover lost wages, medical expenses, loss of property, pain and suffering etc... but would also include reduced from my settlement attorney fees and costs do I have to declare all that? If so is there a choice that I have to declare or is it clear and conclusive that I have to?

Thank you

I would think you don't have to declare the attorney fees & costs.
