Im in ohio i was pulled over for ovi police did not take my licence can i still drive before my court date?

I'm assuming ovi is their version of driving under the influence.
In all criminal cases you are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
If revokation of your license is part of their mandatory DUI, ovi, whatever sentenceing like it is in most states, it can't take effect until you are convicted ( unless your state has some other weird law to the contrary).
Unless your license was already revoked for something else you should be fine. Ask your lawyer just to be on the safe side.
