When she has the baby the father can have a paternity test taken to prove he is the father. He can file for visitations but he would have to pay child support as well. She can also file for child support and sole custody. You as grandparents can do nothing the father or mother is the only ones that can do anything.

My son's girlfriend is pregnant and now she says that he may not be the father. We want to take care of the child if it is my son's. What are our options and do we need to get a lawyer before the child is born?
My son's girfriend told him that she was pregnant and that he is the father but now 12 weeks into the pregnancy her Mother says that he may not be the father. The girl will not answer his calls now. Don't get me wrong it's better to know now but should we get a lawyer now so we can establish paternity?
