Probate

My half brother whom Ive never met is asking the probate court in silver city nm to appoint him as personal representative of my deceased father who passed 4 yrs ago and left no will. what does this mean,if i agree what rights do i have ? does this mean he gets to decide how much or what percentage of profit i would receive if the property was put up for sale. would it be in my best interest to named dual representative also?

You will give him all trust in the probate to dicide what is best for all children and spouses, monies and land , % of what your intrest would be and he could give it all away without any ? yes be a dual representative , because money and family dont mix !
